Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

The Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist is responsible for the overall support of the Riverton Chamber and Visitor's Center. This includes, but is not limited to, greeting of visitors, supply of information to visitors and Chamber members.

This position is supervised by the Executive Director of the Riverton Chamber, and is employed under the guidelines set forth in the Chamber Policies and Procedures Manual.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Answer phone and greet visitors
  • Maintaining membership information through chamber software
  • Prepare communications, such as newsletters, memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
  • Make Wellness Calls to members weekly
  • Monthly Invoicing to members
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Record payments through chamber software and prepare deposits
  • Creating flyers for events
  • Daily Facebook posts along with managing events
  • Office maintenance ( cleaning and taking out trash, etc)
  • Ability to take deposits to bank, other duties requiring a vehicle
  • Replenish Visitor Center brochures and maintain the supply

Qualifications:

  • Customer Service (preferably one year)
  • Knowledge of Canva and Mailchimp/Constant Contact(preferably one year)
  • Knowledge of Powerpoint(preferably one year)
  • Data entry (preferably one year)
  • Administrative (preferably one year)
  • Basic knowledge of Computers/Printers(preferably 4 years)
  • Minimal Bookeeping (preferably one year)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
